Ngaio Emery

Kia ora, I am Ngaio Emery and I'm a year 3/4 teacher in the Kiwi team. I was born and raised on a small farm on the hills of the Hunuas and now live in Manukau. My teaching career started at MEPS six years ago after studying environmental science and teaching at the University of Auckland. In August 2017 I moved to the UK where in two years I taught in London, Edinburgh as well as running education programs at the Edinburgh Zoo over the two summers I was there. I also volunteered to teach in Zambia for three months in 2018.
After nearly three years away overseas I am happy to be home again! I enjoy teaching at our vibrarant school that provides so many exciting learning opportunities for our tamariki with my amazing colleagues.
