Scale A Teacher (1 x Permanent)

Kia ora!  Thank-you for taking an interest in a position at our school!

We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher for a Y5&6 class (2021).  It is an exciting position for an educator who is keen to learn, teach, mentor, coach and grow in a collaborative team environment. Strong relationships, high-quality communication, a sense of humour and a positive outlook on life are essential. Fluency in te reo Māori or a Pacific language is an advantage.

Our school strategic priorities are Cultural Sustainability (including normalizing Te Ao Māori), Whānau Engagement, Student Agency (with a focus on Formative Assessment) and Student and Staff Wellbeing.

In your covering letter please describe your teaching and curriculum strengths in relation to our priorities, to engaging and meeting the diverse needs of students, and your experience supporting the growth of others through coaching and mentoring.

School visits welcomed.

Please also refer to the Support Team Leader and Within School Teacher positions.  You are welcome to apply for the Scale A position and both / or either of these positions.
