Our People | Ngā Tangata o MEPS
At Māngere East Primary School, our people are our greatest strength. We are a proud whānau bound together by our core value of ROSE: Respect for Others, Self & Environment.
Our Students: Our tamariki are the heart of our school. Representing a rich diversity of cultures from Years 1–8, they bring energy and curiosity to our classrooms every day as they learn to walk The MEPS Way.
Our Staff: Our teachers and support staff are a passionate, culturally responsive team. They combine high-quality education with deep care to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to succeed.
Our Whānau & Community: We believe it takes a village to raise a child. The strong, open partnership we share with our parents and wider Māngere East community is the bedrock of everything we do.
Our School Board: Made up of dedicated community and school leaders, our Board provides the strategic vision and governance needed to keep MEPS a safe, well-resourced, and excellent place to learn.
