what you need to know

School Times: Gates open at 8:00am and close at 3:15pm.
Attendance Goal: Regular attendance is vital—please aim for at least 90% each term.
Absences & Lateness: Report any absences or late arrivals directly through the HERO app.
No Early Pick-ups: To minimize disruptions and office workload, early collections are strongly discouraged.

Day 1 Pōwhiri: Held on the first day of each term at 9:10am in the hall or shade structure for all new students, whānau, and staff. Please check in at the office first, then wait at the Waharoa.
HERO App: Our primary tool for school notices and messaging. Please download the app to stay connected; our office team is happy to help you set it up.
Home-School Partnership: We value your support! Stay involved by using HERO, attending school hui, and supporting your child with our home learning apps for maths, reading, and writing.

Uniform Requirements: Official school polo shirt (with logo), navy or black fleece/jacket, and solid black clothing below the waist.
Footwear: Black shoes or roman sandals only (no Crocs).
Lost Property: Please clearly label all clothing and items. Unnamed items go to the lost property box located right outside the school office.
Jewellery: For safety, no jewellery is permitted except plain stud earrings or cultural necklaces (taonga).

School Lunches: Provided free to all students daily, featuring hot meals every second day.
Morning Tea: Please pack a healthy morning tea. Note that any packaging will be sent home in lunchboxes. No lollies or chewing gum are allowed.
Hydration: Students should bring a drink bottle filled with water only (no juice or flavored milk).
