SUPPORT STAFF VACANCIES

Kaiāwhina - Learning Assistant (Fixed-Term, Term Time Only, Part-Time)

We are looking for a Kaiāwhina / Learning Assistant to join our friendly and hard working team for the remainder of 2024.


Responsibilities:

1. Work with individuals and small groups of students requiring additional language and/or learning support by implementing the programme provided.

2. Work with students requiring additional behaviour support and reteaching positive behaviour expectations to help them achieve their goals.

3. Model the school value of respect to self, others and environment.

Requirements for the role:


Hours of Work:
Hours are 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, Term Time only -  9:30-1:10pm (15 hours per week plus a 10 minute paid break per day).


Pay

The starting pay rate is $26.59.  Annual leave accrued will be paid as Holiday Pay (8%).
