Year 7 & 8 Teacher, Full time, Fixed-Term 2024, (18th September to 22nd November 2024).

Kahu, our intermediate school of 120 students, is a very well resourced team with a history of small classes. This year we have full-time learning assistants in class to support unexpected roll growth.

This is an exciting position for a passionate educator who is keen to learn, teach and grow in a collaborative team environment while one of our teachers is on maternity leave (might continue until the end of term 4). Strong relationships, high quality communication, a love of the profession, a sense of humour and a positive outlook on life are essential. 

Our Strategic Priorities are ‘Future Focused Learning’, ‘Language and Culture Count’ and ‘Hauora'.  Fluency in te reo Māori or a Pacific language is an advantage.
