LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

We are seeking an experienced teacher or leader to join our collaborative team as a Learning Support Teacher. This role is built around our commitment to Teaching and Leading to the North-East, where we prioritize relationship-based pedagogy and high-impact, power-sharing strategies.

This is a fully released position designed to support the work of our AP/SENCO and Cluster Learning Support Coordinators. You will work directly with Team Leaders and Teachers to:

• Develop evidence-based plans, programmes and resources that accelerate progress for students requiring additional support.

• Build on our culturally responsive inclusive practices, achieving equitable outcomes for all students (Years 1–8).

• Gather data needed for funding applications and to evaluate programmes.

• Provide small-group or one-on-one teaching as needed.

• Support and mentor our Learning Assistants.
