We are looking for a passionate and experienced teacher who is excited to join our collaborative leadership team. This leader will support both a vertical and horizontal team of teachers and should be able to teach across Y1-8.  This position will start at either Y3&4, Y4&5 or Y5&6.  These are the things that we are looking for in a team leader:

• exemplary classroom practice (planning, delivery and assessment)

• strong formative assessment practices, including promoting learner agency

• ability to form strong relationships with students, staff and whānau

• has high-quality communication - oral, written and problem-solving

• is positive and solution-focused

• motivated to continually develop themselves professionally

• able to mentor and coach teacher learning and development

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of the NZC and learning progressions

• Fluency in te reo Māori or a Pacific language an advantage.
